GI Services has initiated the first studies of ownership and definition of project area at locations which were pre-selected by Enerstar technicians in September 2012 in several provinces of northern Chile. GI Services started business in the town of Sierra Gorda (Antofagasta).
These studies, which began in early February at Sierra Gorda, have defined the study area and collected background information. They have provided model design, geodetic survey, survey planning, graphic documentation of land, and a study of soil composition.
In a second phase, after finalizing the locations of North Interconnected System (SING) in Sierra Gorda and María Elena, the company will launch the studies in the Central Interconnected System (SIC) in Copiapó and Diego de Almagro.
